…er, or something to that effect. I had a lovely email this morning from Jessica Garrison, my editor at Dial in the States. She sent me a link to the School Library Journal blog written by New York Public Library’s Betsy Bird. Why? Because Betsy gives a very nice mention to WHAT TO DO IF AN ELEPHANT STANDS ON YOUR FOOT.
Peter H. Reynolds has done a beyond wonderful job of illustrating the story, which doesn’t come out until July 5th. It seems to be making great first impressions, including picking up a Junior Library Guild Selection Award – hooray!
It was the first manuscript I ever sold, way back in 2008. I might write a post about the full journey soon. In the meantime, I have to go and edit a story about a woolly mammoth. It’s all go chez Robinson.
